Do this before development starts, not after.Define what success looks like upfront. An MVP without clear metrics is just a launch with no way to learn from it. Before you ship, decide what signal you're looking for — engagement, retention, conversion, direct feedback. Without clear objectives, it's impossible to evaluate success or know when to iterate and when to pivot.
